Where Does Honor Go

“In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.”  Psalm 15:4

To where goes our honor,

Is it to the mighty and the great?

To where goes our honor,

To the corrupt that loathes God’s state?

Better that it goes to the one,

That has integrity in his heart.

Standing firm in his word,

From God he’ll never part! 

To where goes our honor,

To be given full and pure?

To Christ the Lord of Glory,

From Him never to detour! 

To what degree do we give God honor?  It is with all our heart, mind, soul and strength.  Nothing should ever come before Him or overshadow Him!  Yes, when it comes to God we are to be dogmatic in honoring Him!

We should love the believers and honor them, caring for them, praying for them, asking for God’s strength for them.

We should love and care for the lost, those that haven’t found Christ as their Savior.  We should do everything in our power to win them by living a life that honors God in front of them.  But we do not honor those that are in rebellion to the Savior!
