“The
wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.” Psalm
10:4
What do the
wicked think,
of God so
rich and sweet?
They have
heads in the air,
an arrogant
stare,
and they’re
full of their own deceit.
Think it
not odd, that they
seek not God,
in their
eyes He doesn’t exist.
Their
hearts are aglow,
for
themselves you know,
and God
they continually resist.
Only a fool ignores God or believes He doesn’t exist! He is
full of himself and sees no need other than what he alone can supply. His eyes
are blinded by his prideful heart. He is
like one that looks in a mirror and is overwhelmed with what he sees. His ears are dull of hearing and he resists
the Word of God!
“The
fool hath said in his heart, There is no
God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” Psalm 14:1
