“The LORD hear
thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;” Psalm 20:1
When
beset with trials,
And
overflowing with despair.
Call
on Jesus,
For
He will be there.
I
know this is true,
Absolutely
a fact.
He’ll
defend you for sure,
His
power He’ll enact!
No one is stronger,
Or as mighty as He!
He gives orders to the
heavens
And walks on the sea!
Men crumble before Him
To His feet do they fall!
They’ll cry out, He’s LORD!
While on their knees the do
crawl!
He gave help to Jacob.
He’ll do the same for you.
He’s not a respecter of
persons.
Trust Him! He’ll carry you through!
“Wherefore
God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every
name: That at the name of Jesus
every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
