All Sin

“Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.” Psalm 19:13

All sin causes grief, and sorrow within!

When in its presence,

You can never win!

All sin tortures the soul of man!

It gnaws at the heart!

It’s worse at the end then when it began!

All sin hurts not only you,

But all those around you,

It will bite and chew!

All sin in the end causes many tears!

Sorrow upon sorrow,

That lasts all your years!

All sin causes you to drift away!

From your God and your family,

It causes decay!

All sin is ugly and presumptuous is one!

It keeps you from the victory,

You think you have won!

All sin is forgiven by the Father’s Son!

Wiped from your heart,

His Spirit you’ve won!

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”  1 John 1:5-10
