Now Let Me See

“The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.”  Psalm 14:2

He wasn’t trying to catch a soul,
in the act of sin.
The reason for His looking,
was to find, righteousness within.

How sad it must have been that day,
for Him to find not one.
Looking down from Glory’s seat,
sadness had begun.

With a heart broke inside
He began to contemplate.
How would He ever justify,
His creations, sinful state?

I will send My Son He said,
He is perfect in every way!
He will live and die and live,
and take their sin away.

Now the Father looks down from above,
with His Son at His side.
Rejoicing at the site He sees,
The Righteousness He did provide!

Watching our children can be a wonderful experience but it can also be a most miserable site to see!  Sadness comes when we see them making mistakes that will surly hinder their success.

A thoughtful parent will lookout for the welfare of their children and do everything possible to make sure their lives meet the standard of righteous living.

The Father is our example,
the Son is our hope!
The Spirit is our guide,
through this slippery slope!

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”  2 Corinthians 5:21
