“He
croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may
fall by his strong ones.” Psalm 10:10
How awful the deeds of the wicked,
the things they do make them livid.
Their out of control as they take their toll
on those their hate is, so vivid.
Without a reason they trounce their victims,
placing them deep in their prisons.
Where they crush and break them down,
they beat their backs to the ground.
Oh how awful the deeds of the wicked!
But make no mistake about their power.
One day they will have their hour.
They will fall like a rat that is caught in a trap,
And that will be the end of that!
How powerful the peace of the acquitted!!!
The believer lives by the hope of their salvation. Their faith carries them through any
situation, they are ever faced with. There is no one, not even satan that has
the power to defeat them.
The wicked of the world may beat us to the ground. They may bruise our bodies or even destroy
it. But we have Jesus, and that’s
enough! His power is above all power and
none, no not one has more power than He has!
If you try to destroy Him by drowning Him, He will walk
calmly on the water! When the storm
comes upon Him, He tells it to calm down!
Put Him in a furnace of fire and He will refuse to burn! Put Him in a den of wild hungry beasts and
they will lie at His feet and purr! Kill
Him and He will raise Himself from the dead!!!
“What
shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but
delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all
things? Who shall lay any thing
to the charge of God's elect? It
is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is
risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession
for us.” Romans 8:31-34
