Be watchful of the traps of evil,
Those that often come our way!
Their trickery is deceitful,
They want to make you sway!
Like a feather in your ear,
They tickle you and say.
You don’t need God at all.
I’ll give you a better way!
But what do they stand upon,
From where do they get their prove?
Everyone’s a philosopher,
but none of it is the truth!
Truth lies in the Word of God!
No where else can it be found!
Trusting in yourself or others,
Will lead you to be unbound!
They talk of all their greatness.
They say their way is true!
But if you can’t find it in God's Book,
They haven’t got a clue!
“Jesus saith
unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.” John 14:6
