I am Weak but He is Strong

“And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.”    Genesis 4:26

The name Enos (Enosh) means ‘man’ but not in the singular sense. It is a picture of the general collection of the human race.  While the family of Cain built for themselves a city to accomplish their own desire for the things of the world, the family of Seth turned toward GOD. The derivative word of Enosh, ‘אנשׁ‘ means to be weak, faint and frail.  The Sethites understood their weakness and turn toward GOD and worshiped Him.

Until man understands his weakness and his complete inability, turns to GOD and gives Him their complete trust, he is without hope!  In this day of change and choice every person must make a decision, worship a deserving GOD or the world and what it offers!

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21  Choose JESUS!!!
